Privacy Policy
Last updated
This page explains, in plain language, what information is used when you take part in the Project NANDA community, why it is used, and how to contact us with questions.
Information used by the community
Access to the member community is invitation-only. When you sign in, the platform uses account information needed to identify your account, such as your email address and information provided by your Google account, which may include your name and profile image.
You may also choose to add information to your member profile, such as a biography, professional details, interests, skills, location, links, or contact details. The platform also stores information you submit while using its features, including connection requests, direct messages, group posts and replies, poll responses, event participation, startup or referral information, and images or other files you upload.
If you invite someone, the invitation process uses the email address and any optional name or message you enter. Information about invitations and community activity is used to operate those features.
How information is used
Information is used to sign you in, maintain your account, show member profiles and community content, and provide features such as connections, messaging, groups, events, polls, and invitations. It may also be used to support community administration, respond to requests, and maintain the operation and security of the platform.
The platform may create in-app notifications and send some email notifications related to community activity. An in-app notification does not always result in an email, and an email send request does not guarantee delivery to an inbox.
Services that help run the site
- Supabase supports sign-in and the platform’s database and related application services.
- Resend is used to process certain community email notifications.
- AWS S3 and CloudFront host and deliver the website’s static files.
These services may process the information necessary to provide their part of the platform. Their services and policies are managed by their respective providers.
Your browser stores information needed for sign-in and site preferences. When you access the site, hosting and service providers may receive technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type, and request time, to deliver and secure the service.
Your choices and questions
You can review and update profile details through the platform’s profile features. For questions about information connected with your account, or to ask about access, correction, or deletion, contact us. We will review your request and explain any next steps; we do not promise that every record can be changed or removed immediately.
How long information is kept depends on its type and why it is needed. Account, community, and technical records may be retained while needed to operate the platform, address security issues, or meet legal obligations. Contact us if you have questions about a particular record.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the community and its features change. The date at the top shows when this version was last updated.
